Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

AINE is an event memory platform operated from Singapore under NXTLYFE ("we", "us"). Guests capture photos and videos at events through their browser, hosts curate and receive the finished memories. We serve hosts and guests worldwide, and this policy is written to meet the strictest rules that apply to us, including Singapore's PDPA, the EU and UK GDPR, and comparable laws elsewhere, while staying readable by a human at a wedding.

What we collect, and on what basis

If you host an event: your email address (sign-in and deliverables), your event details, and any branding image you upload. We process these to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract).

If you are a guest at an event: the display name you enter (visible to the host and on your captures), the photos and videos you choose to capture or upload, and a random device identifier stored in your browser so your shots stay yours. Joining an event and capturing is your choice; once you join, we process these to deliver the event experience you are taking part in (performance of a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in operating the event for its host).

Only if you ask for gallery delivery: your email address or WhatsApp number, used solely to send your personal gallery link after the event. This is optional and consent-based: leaving it blank costs you nothing else, and you can withdraw it anytime by writing to us.

Automatically: product analytics (pages viewed, features used, approximate region, device type) via PostHog, and error reports when something breaks (legitimate interest in keeping the service working). We do not sell personal data, run ads, or share data with data brokers.

Photos and videos

Captures belong to the people who made them and to the event host, not to us. They are stored privately per event; only people with the event link or a personal gallery link can view them. Hosts control moderation and can hide any capture. We process media only to provide the service: thumbnails, quality curation, and highlight films. We do not use your photos to train AI models. We do not run face recognition; if we ever offer a face-based feature, it will require explicit, separate opt-in consent from the people involved and will be off by default.

Where your data lives and international transfers

Your media and event data are stored in Singapore. Our platform is built on Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare; emails are sent through Resend, WhatsApp messages through Twilio, and analytics are processed by PostHog (US region). Because hosts and guests join from around the world, your data may be processed outside your country; where transfer rules such as the GDPR apply, we rely on our providers' standard contractual clauses and equivalent safeguards. Each provider processes data only on our instructions.

Retention and deletion

Event media is kept so memories are never lost by default. A host may delete their event or any capture at any time, which removes it for everyone. Guests may request deletion of their own captures or contact details by emailing us. Account deletion removes your events and media. Contact details left for gallery delivery are used only to serve your gallery link.

Your rights, wherever you are

Regardless of your country, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict our processing of it, and withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting your use of the rest of the service. Write to support@aine.cam and we respond within 30 days. Our Data Protection Officer is reachable at the same address. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority; in Singapore, to the PDPC.

Children

AINE is operated for event hosts who are adults. Guests of all ages appear in event photos as part of ordinary event photography; hosts are responsible for the consent customs of their own event, and we honour deletion requests for anyone's captures, especially children's, without question.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will note it here and, for hosts, tell you by email. Questions welcome, always: support@aine.cam.
